Fatemeh Zehtabi

Dr. Fatemeh (Tima) Zehtabi received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering & Health care technology from École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montreal, Canada. She also collaborated with COOK Medical company and CHUM - Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal in the capacity of researcher for 2 years on transferring the technology and commercialization of novel sclerosing/embolizing agents which was previously developed by her and her team. Dr. Zehtabi is a Polymer Scientist at synthesizing and optimizing novel embolic agents for the treatment of endoleaks. Dr. Zehtabi joined Dr. Khademhosseini’s lab at Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI) in July 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher. Her goal of research in TIBI is developing novel embolic agents for vascular malformation and cancer therapy.
