Tuan Nguyen

Dr. Huu Tuan Nguyen obtained a French Engineer’s diploma in Materials Science and Engineering and an MS degree in micro-nanotechnology at INSA de Lyon in France in 2013. He moved then to Switzerland, where he did his graduate research on the improvement of breast cancer diagnosis through microfluidics at prof. Martin Gijs lab at EPFL. He performed the first microfluidics-assisted fluorescent in situ hybridization on patient histological tissue slides.

After his Ph.D., he joined Prof. Kamm’s lab at MIT and worked on Vascularized Tumor-on-a-chip For Quantitative Assessment Of Macrophage Phenotype And Immunotherapy Effects On Tumor Immune Cell Infiltration. From May 2022, he joined the Terasaki Institute as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on vasculature/sensor interface for pharmaceutical applications.
