Jacky (Shaopei) Li

Jacky (Shaopei) Li obtained his Honor Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. He then went onto complete his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, specializing in Analytical chemistry and Bioelectrochemistry at the University of Toronto. He designs and creates biosensor platforms for the understanding of Small molecule-protein interaction in Parkinson’s disease. He also worked on chemical sensor fabrication by applying various nanocomposites, nanoparticles, and microstructures for the detection of biologically significant small molecules. He holds expertise in the application of a variety of electrochemical techniques such as CV, DPV, SWV, and EIS. Jacky joined Professor. Khademhosseini’s lab as a post-doctoral researcher in June 2021. He is interested in creating biosensors for the application of personalized medicine.
