Naoko Okada

Naoko Okada was born in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Sophia University Foreign Language Department, German Department in 1984 and went on to study fashion design at Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and trained with designers such as Pierre Cardin and Issei Miyake. She worked with Asahi Chemical Industry(Aka Asahi Kasei) in the Fashion marketing planning department for 4 years, and moved to LA due to her parent's retirement.

Since then, she was involved in Fashion and art creation. She started to work for Nibei Foundation(AKA The Terasaki Nibei Foundation) in 2006, as a program coordinator planning Japanese cultural events bi-monthly, organizing the Japanese Doctors club. Since 2021, started to work for TIBI as a program coordinator for TIBI members and am involved in social media post creations.Certified Sake Navigator, Restaurant manager, Bartender. Married 26 years, mother of 2 daughters, 2 miniature dachshunds.
